Sales Team Leader

Based in Guildford, Surrey, our Client is Europe's independent business technology leasing specialist and have now completed the first phase of a major expansion of its UK sales organisation. As a result of success they now wish to strengthen the sales teams throughout the South and Midlands.

To support this they are looking for an Internal Sales Team Leader to anchor in a team of up to 5 internal sales support. Responsibilities will include contacting customers, handling bids and resulting documentation and to participate in telemarketing in support of the field sales effort as well as general customer service. You will also be responsible for the hiring, training and leadership of the support team.

The main purpose of the role is to establish/increase the flow of business from the regional IT and office equipment dealer populaton and to process the resulting flow of transactions from small and medium sized business customers using the in-house and external software. You will be responsible for prospecting, developng and maintaining close sales relationships with a portfolio of dealerships to increase use of the products and services. Identification and development of local key accounts is critical.

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience of having worked in a sales support or customer service role
